WeekMate organized the 5th edition of HR Elevate at its Ahmedabad office. The whole day was dedicated to HR professionals, with practical discussions on people, culture, leadership, and the changing face of HR.
Meet the Panel
The panel featured two experienced HR leaders:
Mr. Satvik G. Trivedi, AVP, People & Culture at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd. (KPIL), has 30+ years of experience in people management, HR transformation, and organisational development. He is known for building high-performance cultures and people practices aligned with business needs.
Ms. Dhara Agarwal, Deputy General Manager, HR at Synoverge Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has 18+ years of experience across organisational culture, learning and development, and leadership development, with a focus on employee growth and organisational effectiveness.
Key Takeaways from the Panel
Career growth and retention: Regular career chats allow companies to identify employees’ career aspirations, enable their development, and give them incentives to remain with them.
Understanding employee potential: The ability to assess potential enables an organisation to make various development plans to accommodate different people’s characteristics, competencies, and career aspirations.
Culture beyond policies: Culture cannot stop at written values. Employees should experience it through everyday interactions, communication, support and organisational practices.
Accountability and ownership: When employees clearly understand their KPIs, KRAs and responsibilities, they take greater ownership of their work.
Connecting contribution with vision: People perform better when they can see how their individual work supports the larger goals of the organisation.
Learning and development: The panel discussed the 3E Model of Education, Experience and Exposure as an approach to preparing people for future responsibilities.
Leadership and promotion: The conversation covered leadership transitions, creating clarity around roles and authority, and balancing empathy and humility with leadership responsibility.
Handling workplace conflicts: For interdepartmental conflicts, the panel highlighted helping people understand different perspectives and using objective facts to resolve the situation.
Gen Z and changing workforce needs: The panel discussed the need for more targeted awareness and development approaches for Gen Z, covering culture, values, evaluations, accountability, and expectations.
More from the Event
Beyond the panel, the morning included an interactive WeekMate session where the team spoke with HR professionals about their real workplace challenges and changing HR needs. This was followed by an introduction to how WeekMate can support those needs through technology. A fun, interactive activity kept the session engaging, and attendees also had time to network, exchange experiences, and continue the conversations well beyond the panel.
