WeekMate at ERP Expo 2026: Three Days, Real Talk, and a Floor Full of Business Problems Worth Solving

WeekMate at ERP Expo 2026

The floor at the Auto Cluster Exhibition Center in Pimpri-Chinchwad was busier than most expected. Over three days, 7th, 8th, and 9th May 2026, India’s first ERP Expo brought together a wide mix of software providers, business owners and consultants.

WeekMate was there. And the conversations we had were worth showing up for.

What ERP Expo 2026 Actually Was?

Organized by Exponomics Events, ERP Expo 2026 was India’s first B2B exhibition built specifically around ERP solutions. The event featured the industry-specific zones and knowledge sessions. 100 exhibitors, 200 brands, 350 products and 8,000 visitors.

The whole event was oriented around one question: how are Indian businesses actually managing operations, and what’s missing?

The exhibitor floor covered a lot of ground. Manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, EdTech, MSMEs, retail, agri-tech. Each segment had its own zone with providers who understood those specific pain points. Keynotes ran alongside hands-on workshops. B2B interactive sessions were scheduled so conversations didn’t just happen by accident.

Here are the ERP Expo 2026 event highlights:

  • Industry-Specific Zones: Dedicated zones for Healthcare, Construction, EdTech, and more – each tailored to sector-specific ERP needs.
  • Exhibitor Showcase: Top ERP providers from across India displayed their products, including startups and niche solution builders.
  • Knowledge Sessions: Keynote speeches, panel discussions on ERP trends, and real-world case studies from industry pioneers.
  • Workshops & Training: Hands-on sessions covering ERP customization, cloud ERP, and AI-powered solutions.
  • Innovation Zone: Live exploration of emerging ERP tech (IoT, AI, and blockchain integrations) and future trends.
  • Networking Opportunities: B2B matchmaking sessions and dedicated networking lounges for meaningful business conversations.

For WeekMate, a platform that sits at the intersection of HR, task management, CRM, and internal communication, it was exactly the kind of audience we needed.

What We Saw on the Floor?

A lot of businesses we spoke to were juggling too many tools. One for attendance. Another for payroll. A spreadsheet someone built four years ago that nobody wants to touch, but everyone depends on. A WhatsApp group that technically counts as “internal communication”.

It’s not that these businesses hadn’t tried to fix it. Several had. They’d implemented software, gone through onboarding, and then quietly watched the team revert to old habits because the tool was too complicated or too siloed to actually help.

What came up repeatedly was that they didn’t need more features. They needed fewer logins.

WeekMate’s setup at the expo gave visitors a chance to see what a connected platform looks like in practice. HRMS and payroll are in the same place as task tracking. CRM alongside team communication. Not stitched together with integrations that break, but built to work together from the start. For some visitors, that was genuinely new information. For others, it confirmed what they’d been looking for.

The Conversations Worth Having

Three days of the exhibition floor can blur together quickly. What stands out are the specific exchanges.

A founder running a mid-sized logistics firm spent about forty minutes at our booth, not because he was sold on the product, but because he wanted to think out loud about where his operations were breaking down. The problem wasn’t software. It was that his team’s daily task updates, payroll queries, and customer follow-ups lived in completely separate systems with no overlap. By the end of the conversation, he had a clearer picture of what he was actually looking for. That felt useful, regardless of what he decided next.

A school administrator from Nashik came in looking at EdTech ERP options but ended up asking about the HR side of things, specifically around managing staff rosters and leave approvals. She hadn’t connected those two problems before arriving at the expo. Our conversations gave her better clarity on not just HR management but how two of these can improve operational excellence.

A startup founder, maybe two years into building her company, was direct: “We’re six people now. What’s the point of setting up all this?” Fair question. The answer is that the habits you set at six people tend to follow you to sixty. Better to build clean systems early than to untangle a mess later.

What the Expo Got Right?

Events like this can easily become a showcase of capabilities nobody has time to actually learn. ERP Expo 2026 avoided that, mostly because the format pushed for real interaction. The workshops weren’t just presentations. The B2B sessions were structured enough that you walked in knowing who you’d be talking to and why.

The presence of big names (Zoho, Tally, TCS iON) alongside smaller, specialized players meant visitors had real choices to compare. That makes for a more honest conversation at each booth. No one could afford to oversell.

For WeekMate, that environment helped. We’re not pitching to someone who has never thought about operational software. We’re talking to people who’ve already tried a few things and are asking more specific questions. That’s a better conversation to be in.

What We’re Taking Back?

Exhibitions are useful for the same reason feedback is useful. They prepare you to explain what you do in plain terms to someone who has no reason to nod along politely.

A few things came up enough times to be worth paying attention to. Businesses want mobile access that actually works, not a scaled-down version of a desktop interface. They want onboarding that doesn’t require a three-month implementation. And they want to talk to someone when something breaks, not submit a ticket and wait.

These aren’t new problems. But hearing them repeatedly from people in manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and retail makes them more concrete.

A Note on What Comes Next

WeekMate isn’t done refining what we build. The feedback from events like ERP Expo 2026 goes somewhere. It shapes what gets prioritized on the product roadmap, what gets clearer in how we explain things, and what gets addressed in the onboarding flow.

If you were at the expo and had a conversation with us, or if you came by the booth and ran out of time, you can pick it back up. The questions don’t expire.

And if you missed the event entirely, we’re here to have a conversion about WeekMate.

WeekMate is a business operations platform offering HRMS, payroll, task management, CRM, and internal communication tools under one roof. Built for teams that are tired of switching between systems.
